Is lab created tanzanite harder than natural tanzanite? - tanzanite or sapphire
Or is there another alternative, the gem sapphire. I have my heart on a Tanzanite engagement ring. But I know are very soft for everyday wear. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a tanzanite engagement ring and I almost every day for 2 years. It is as perfect as the first day I had - no scratches at all. Of course I'm not the intention to use after I'm married, but when I then hired its not going to suffer any harm, even if a stone is relatively soft (6.5).
To tell you when I have so many compliments and envious looks from women who have cut the huge diamond rings cookie. Ya gotta love the purple! Get the ring, what you want!
